It is a massive moment for Test cricket in India as this day-night Test match could increase the popularity of longer format.
After the 3 match T20I series between India and Bangladesh starting from November 3rd, both teams will feature in the 2 match Test series starting from 14th November. The second Test match to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata would be a day night affair. It will be a part of the ICC Test Championship.
The match will be played from SG and it would be a challenge for both these Teams as they have not played any day night Test match. The Indian team were reluctant to play day night Test but now with Sourav Ganguly coming as BCCI President, this would be a massive boost for Test Cricket in India.
